Shrimp and Grits
Ingredients
- 10 pieces 41/50 Shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 Tablespoon Diced Green Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Diced Red Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Diced Yellow Onion
- 1 Teaspoon Garlic
- 2 Tablespoons Canola Oil
- 2 Tablespoons Diced Tasso Ham
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 2 Tablespoons White Wine
- ½ Cup Heavy Cream
Instructions
- Place Saute pan stove at Medium heat, add Canola oil.
- When oil smokes slightly, add Shrimp, Tasso Ham, Onions, Peppers, Garlic, Salt and Pepper.
- When the Shrimp turns pink add wine.
- Continue sautéing for about 2 minutes and add Heavy Cream.
- Bring mixture to a boil, turn down to medium-low heat.
- Let cream reduce slightly for 2 minutes, season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Take off of the heat
- Serve over grits and enjoy!
