Horchata Margarita Recipe

Margarita with blood orange puree and hibiscus syrup

Ingredients

  • 1/8 cup triple sec
  • 3/4 cup blood orange puree
  • 1/8 cup Tequila El Mayor Blanco
  • 1/2 fresh lime
  • 3/8 cup hibiscus syrup
  • 1 small container of hibiscus salt

Instructions

  1. Combine the Tequila Blanco, blood orange puree, triple sec, hibiscus syrup and lime.
  2. Add ice and shake well.
  3. Spread a small amount of the hibiscus salt on a small plate.
  4. Moisten the outer rim of the serving glass.
  5. Dip the rim into the salt to lightly coat.
  6. Fill glass with ice.
  7. Pour the margarita mix over the ice with the strainer.
  8. Serve.
