Onion Tart Recipe
Tart filled with sauteed onions

Ingredients
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 1 1/4 lbs Yellow Onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 2 Eggs, well-beaten
- 2 tbsp Heavy Cream
- 1 tsp Salt
- Tart Shells
Instructions
- Heat butter in a saute pan until melted.
- Add onions and saute over medium heat until they are golden caramel brown color.
- Add sugar halfway through the cooking process.
- Remove from heat and chill to cool.
- While onions are cooling, beat the eggs with heavy cream and add the salt.
- Combine the egg mixture with the cooled onions.
- Divide onion mixture between tart shells, filling them so that they are slightly rounded in the center.
- Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
