Hummus Recipe
A dip made from mashed chickpeas (garbanzo beans), and seasoned with lemon juice, garlic and tahini (sesame seed paste).
Ingredients
- 32 ounces Chickpeas, canned, drained, and rinsed
- 5 T. Tahini, mix well
- 2 T. Garlic, roasted
- 1 t. Garlic, fresh
- 10 each Lemons, juiced
- Salt and Pepper
Instructions
- Place Chickpeas in a blender or food processor.
- Puree until smooth.
- Add tahini, both garlics, and half the lemon juice.
- Mix.
- Adjust lemon juice and finish with salt and pepper.
