Mealie Pap Recipe
A traditional porridge / polenta made from mielie-meal (ground maize)

Ingredients
- 10 ounces Diced Onion 1/4 inch dice
- 3 ounces Butter
- 13 ounces Yellow Corn Meal
- 32 ounces Milk
- 8 ounces Parmesan Cheese
- 16 ounces Cream Corn
- 2 ounces Shredded Cheddar Cheese Mix
- 2 tablespoons Salt and Pepper Mix
Instructions
- Saute onions in butter.
- Add milk and cream corn and bring to a light boil.
- Add the cornmeal and continue to cook on a medium heat for approximately 20 minutes stirring continuously with a whisk.
- Add the salt and pepper and the parmesan cheese.
- Top with shredded cheese mix and serve.
